In addition to inspection results from the inspection bodies, production data from processing companies and information on the origin of farm and animal feed products, data on the movement of goods and quantities are also collected.

Lampert developed this extensive collection of data along the value chain long before the Supply Chain Act and the Green Claims Regulation. For the first time Back to the origin by HOFER offered product traceability from the shelf to the farm based on the Lampert database for the first time in 2006.
